Key points
- How a booking becomes binding. A reservation is valid only when it is made through this website (or confirmed by e-mail from the la-escribana.com domain) or confirmed unconditionally through one of the booking platforms we work with, and 50% of the accommodation price has been paid. That payment is applied against the total.
- Balance and security deposit. The remaining price and the security deposit are due 30 days before arrival. Unless another amount is agreed, the security deposit is €900; it covers damage, third-party claims connected with your stay and any other amount due under the agreement, and is settled within one week of departure.
- Arrival and departure. Check-in is between 17:00 and 21:00 and check-out is at 10:00. For two-night weekend stays, check-in is from 11:00 and check-out is at 19:00. Please tell us your arrival time at least 24 hours in advance.
- Registration of guests. Spanish law requires us to register the identity document and details of every person aged 17 or over staying at the property. Details must be provided before the keys are handed over.
- Cancellations. You may cancel in writing at any time before arrival; the applicable charges depend on the deadline, as set out in clause 2 of the document.
- House rules. The terms cover, among other things, the number of occupants, subletting, noise, smoking, the pool, maintenance visits and liability for damage or lost keys.
- Law and jurisdiction. The agreement is governed by Spanish law and any dispute is submitted to the courts of Sevilla.
